Description of Work:

1. Demolish existing kitchen cabinets, tops and approximately five (5) feet of the wall that backs up to  living room. This will extend peninsula to create new open look.  
2. Provide and install new 42-inch upper cabinets (to be located above stove top wall) with 2.5-inch  crown molding. Provide and install new base cabinets below upper cabinets and underneath (on  kitchen side) of new open peninsula. Create new refrigerator box with 27” deep cabinets above to  bring it flush with refrigerator box. Move existing microwave to corner of kitchen that backs up to  pantry and create new 30-inch microwave cabinet. End cabinet next to breakfast will be a corner  cabinet with open shelving.  
3. New peninsula area will retain existing bar top footprint and then drop down to single level where  wall is being removed.  
4. Relocate light switches on wall to be demolished final location T.B.D.  
5. Provide and install quartz countertops throughout new kitchen layout.  
6. Install new “chimney” exhaust hood (provided by owner). Exhaust vent will be vented thru exterior  wall (no roof penetrations).  
7. Decorative porcelain backsplashes are included on kitchen oven/stove wall which will have the  “chimney” exhaust hood. Final backsplash design to be coordinated with owner.
8. Patch and repair all walls and ceilings ready to accept paint (we will do our best to replicate ceiling  texture but, we have only included patching and texture for areas affected by demolition). 
9. Paint entire new kitchen and all areas associated with the remodeled space with (2) coats of Sherwin Williams paint (color T.B.D.)
