Description of Work:
- Demolish existing shower, shower header, tile wainscot, vanity, light, toilet, sink, cabinet, medicine cabinet, window sill and tile surround and subflooring complete. Bathroom concrete floor will need to be removed by jack hammer. American Home Remodeling and Restoration will not be responsible for damage resulting from concrete floor removal.
- Remove and replace all bathroom plumbing associated with bathroom remodel. This does not include removal and replacement of cast iron waste piping.
- Provide and replace bathroom subfloor ready to accept moisture resistant cement board.
- Provide and install moisture resistance cement board at bathroom floors ready to accept porcelain tile.
- Provide and construct new sloped shower pan and install moisture resistant cement tile backerboard at shower walls and ceiling. Shower drain to be relocated to center of shower pan.
- Provide and install new porcelain subway tile at shower walls and ceiling incorporating one (1) decorative band of vertical tile on one wall or one horizontal band on three (3) shower walls.
- Provide and install new baseboards at demolished bathroom walls.
- Provide and install wainscot beadboard over the drywall at bathroom walls at a height of 52-inches to match previous tile wainscot height.
- Provide and install new baseboards at demolished bathroom walls.
- Provide and install new bathroom window sill.
- Provide and install custom frameless 3/8”-inch thick glass shower door.
- Provide and install one shower head and handle complete and ready for owner’s use Shower head height T.B.D.
- Provide and install new ceramic pedestal sink.
- Install new medicine cabinet. This will require new framing and patching.
- Prep all walls and ceiling in bathroom area complete and paint with two (2) coats of Sherwin-Williams paint (color T.B.D.).
- Relocate outlets and replace electrical wiring in master bathroom affected by remodel.
- Provide and install new high-rise toilet and associated plumbing.
- Provide and install new exhaust fan- light combo at shower ceiling.
